Blue Skies is a good example of Government’s 1D1F- Alan Kyeremanteng

Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng has commended Blue Skies Company Limited, a free zones company in Double, a community in the Ga West Municipality for their contribution to Ghana’s growth and development. 

On a working visit to the company ‘s facility last Friday, the trade minister expressed satisfaction at the operations of the company mentioning that the company, is a good example of the vision of HE president Nana Akuffu-Addo. 

According to Mr. Kyeremanteng, “having companies of this nature in every District will help reduce unemployment, improve on agriculture and improve on the countries generate some foreign exchange for the country”, he said. 

Mr. Kyeremanteng further commended the company for employing Ghanaians, most especially women from the community within which it operates. 

Blue Skies currently employs over Three Thousand (3000) workers directly, with majority of its employees being women. 

CEO of the company Anthony Pile expressed worry about challenges facing the company’s operations within the West African Subregion. The company currently exports raw fruits from Benini, Senegal, and other countries within the subregion to augment their supplies from Ghana, which is woefully inadequate to feed the factory.
