The Ghana Immigration Service has cautioned the public to disregard news on social media platforms and unauthorized websites about ongoing recruitment into the Security Service.
According to a Press Statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, the service stated that it is not embarking on any such recruitment and termed those reports and news on social media as false and should, therefore, be treated with contempt. The statement further stated that the Ghana Immigration Service does not embark on recruitment exercises through social media not does it engage identify agents or intermediaries.
It further admonished citizens and the general public to be wary of individuals who wish to claim to be selling forms or issuing appointment letters to be enlisted into the service. It further mentioned that announcements of recruitments will be made in the National Dailies and on its official website.
