IMS donates 15,000 Dollar Bins to Sanitation Ministry

The Information Management Systems (IMS) Engineering has donated a total of One Hundred (100) water bins to the Ministry of Sanitation and water resources to enable the Ministry to achieve its drive to achieve the clean Accra Agenda.

The donation which was done on Wednesday, at the premises of the Ministry by the Local Manager of IMS, Fahad Essuman and other staff of the company was done to support the country in the sanitation fight and free our main cities from the filth on the major streets and city centers.

According to Mr. Fahad Essuman, the bins were acquired at a cost of 15,000 dollars.

Speaking to the media, Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources Mr. Michael Yaw Gyato appealed to other companies and institutions to emulate the kind gesture of IMS Engineering and make such donations to the Ministry in order to enable it to achieve its clean Accra drive.

“We have placed some bins in town, along the streets. And these litter bins are to aid road commuters and easily drop their litters in bins after consuming its contents. We appreciate IMS engineering for this good work done and entreat the general public, corporate bodies and other philanthropists to come to our aid”.

The Deputy Minister further appealed to the public to desist from dumping home refuse into the litter bins.
