
Awomefia Appointed Sole Mediator In Bimbila Chieftaincy Dispute.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has appointed the Awomefia of the Anlo Traditional Area, Torgbui Sri III, as lead Mediator towards the resolution of the Bimbila Chieftaincy disputes.
In his remarks, Hon. Kan Dapaah extolled the virtues of the Awomefia as an experienced, peaceful and trustworthy traditional ruler and statesman, which distinguished him for appointment as the sole mediator in the Bimbila
In presenting the instrument of appointment to the Awomefia, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah divulged that government has so much confidence in the ability and competence of the revered Awomefia to bring the dispute to an amicable end.

On his side, the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs was full of joy for the good things that President Akufo-Addo is doing for the Anloland. He recounted the creation of the Anloga District Assembly, the recent sod-cutting for the Keta Harbour and of which the appointment of the Awomefia as a sole mediator in the Bimbila Chieftaincy dispute on top of it is something that the good of Anlo will reciprocate in the 2020 elections.
