A 19 year old form three student of the Enyan Denkyira Senior High School has been reported missing for the past 3 weeks.
According to a press statement issued by the family of the missing girl named Alberta Hanson, the incidence occurred on Wednesday, 4th September, 2019.

Her mother later called the house mistress to find out if her girl has reached schoo only to be told the girl was not as school.

Giving a detailed account of what happened, Alfred Inkoom, a Family Member of the missing girl explained that Alberta was expected to be in school around 4PM that day but further checks afterwards revealed that she was never at school, while her phone was also unreachable.
“According to the mother, Madam Esi Charlotte, who was in Accra then, had a phone conversation with the daughter and she told the mother that she would be leaving to school at 4 PM.”

Mr. Alfred Inkoom also explained how a quick check at the home after the conversation with the head mistress revealed that all items necessary for Alberta to carry along to school were all left in the room. He also added that Alberta left home with 35 cedis and her phone only.

“The mother was shocked upon hearing the news,so she quickly came home from Accra in search of her daughter, but was nowhere to be found till the following day.But all her items such as school uniform, provisions and other basic materials needed at school were at home. She(the mother)then report the case to Ajumako District Police Command and investigations have begun.”

The family further appealed to the general public to them and security agencies by providing information to the police.
