The Fair Trade Ghana Networks has held its its Annual General Meeting in Accra to review the its programs and activities in the Year 2019.
The meeting which saw many producers and hired labour organisations within the Free Trade Ghana Network attend discussed the challenges being faced by its members in their search for market and the difficulties they go through to access funds to expand their businesses.
Addressing the gathering of partners at the Bethek Heights Hotel in Madina, President of the Network, Johnson Kuomedjro disclosed that leader had engaged Consultants to help design strategic guidelines and which will guide the group in progress in the future.
“A couple of weeks ago we met with a consultant to help is with our strategic plan that will help us to move forward and we are here to delve into what we have done a week ago”, he revealed.
He also mentioned that as part of the networks fission it looks to improve on women participation this year.
Mr. Johnson also expressed appreciation to partners of the Network for attending this year’s General Meeting in their numbers and further advised then to continue to actively participate in the networks future activities, more especially in the upcoming leadership election.
