Release Our Ambulances Now Or….- Savannah Region NDC

The Regional Communication Officer of the Opposition National Democratic Congress in the Savannah Region has called on the Regional Minister to urgently release Ambulance allocated to Constituencies in the Region.

According to a press statement signed by Malik Basintale and released to me media today, he accused the Regional Minister of parking the Region’s ambulances at his office at the Coordinating Council without serving the purpose for which it was dispatched.

“They have since been tasked to continuously drive through the streets of Damango township on an hourly bases with loud sirens and parked every night at the minister’s compound or the West Gonna DCE’s compound since last two days”, it stated.

According to him, the situation has generated tension in region as the abscense of the ambulances has resulted in the death of 2 patients.

They also gave the Minister a 48 hour ultimatum to get the Ambulances to their designated location or face what he described as a “forceful dispatch and allocation” of the ambulances.
