The Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company, Ing Dr. Clifford Abdallah Braimah, has indicated that his outfit has been doing several positive things in the areas of high revenue mobilization, the use of technology to deliver quality services and the strengthening of the operations department of the company quietly and away from the media but was happy that the management of the Voiceless Media and Consult has been able to spot some of the good things they were doing.
Dr. Clifford Braimah said this when staff of the Voiceless Media and Consult led by Chief Akilu Sayibu paid a visit to his office in Accra to honour him and the Ghana Water Company for bringing high level innovations and the deployment of technology in its operations aimed at ensuring efficiency and effective delivery of its services.
Presenting a certificate of honour and a Ghc40,000 Personal Accident Insurance Cover to Dr. Clifford Abdallah Braimah, Chief Akilu Sayibu noted that the media should be willing to honour innovations and good performance when they spot it the same way they are quick to publish bad news.
The Voiceless Media disclosed that its award scheme was aimed at honouring chiefs, religious leaders, politicians, musicians and members of our communities who are contributing their best towards the development of Ghana and their communities to motivate and encourage others to continue to do more.
Present at the ceremony were some staff of the Ghana Water Company including Remy Bonpirah Puoru, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Finance and Administration, Ing. Jacob Yendor, Deputy Managing Director in charge of operations and Mr. Stanley Martey, Head of Public Relations of the Ghana Water Company.
