Police Hospital to Decongest Morgue

The Ghana Police Hospital has served notice to the public that it intends to undertake a Mass Burial of both known and Unknown unidentified bodies in the next fourteen days.

The move according to the hospital is to decongest the morgue and make way for new dead bodies to be stored as the morgue is currently congested.

According to the press statement from the Head of Public Affairs of the hospital, DSP/Mr, Yaw Nketia-Yeboah bodies are not being released to the public for burial and funeral but families may be allowed to bury their loved ones only after signing an undertaking to complay with existing protocols and adhare to private burials.

“Such gatherings should not be more than Twenty-five (25) people assembling and must also respect existing protocols including Social Distancing”, it stated.
