Ambrose Derry Cut sod for Construction of Ultra-Modern Office’s Complex

The Government of Ghana represented Interior Minister, Hon. Ambrose Derry has cut the sod for construction of an ultra-morden office complex in Accra.

The building would have offices for commanding officers, senior police officers, units heads, general office, orderly-room, special resource, waiting room, conference room.

According to Honorable Ambrose Derry, Minister of Interior, who spoke on behalf of the vice president, His Excellency Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the building would serve as a one-stop shop to build the capacity of the international relations directorate and the Force Police Unit ( FPU) to effectively coordinate the international operations on behalf of the Ghana Police service.

He urged the contractor to meet the timelines in order for the service to have full benefits of the building.

Mr James Oppong Boanuh, Inspector General of Police, thanked the government for such initiative.

And he said this will even boots there moral as a police officers and have this at their back of their minds that the government hasn’t gotten about them so they are looking forward to see more of this in the year future.
