With the controversy going on with the Agyapa Royalties Deal and the fears being raised by Civil Society Organizations and IMANI Africa, Minister for Communication has quizzed why they should be trusted on their predictions.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful took to her Facebook page to express her opinion writing

“Tinking and Tanking.

More failed Expert predictions!!! Why should anyone listen to anything they say?”

In her post, the Ablekuma West Member of Parliament posted a news publication of IMANI Africa predicting the failure of Governments Free SHS policy, referring to that as failed expert prediction. In her post, the Think-tank has not proven to have a track record of predicting accurately, hence the fears being raised in the Agyapa Royalties Deal couldn’t not be trusted.

Vice President of IMANI, Bright Simons together with 15 Civil Society Organizations have vehemently criticized Governments arguments for the listing 49 percent of Ghana’s gold Royalties on the Ghana and London Stock Exchange, a move government has said will enable the country play on the field of mining giants in the world.
