NDC to “March For Justice” Against Kaka’s Murder

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will tomorrow July 6, 2021 protest against the Murder of Kaka and other similar incidences of Murder that has taken place under the watch of President Akufo-Addo over the last 4-years.

The protest that was earlier prevented by the Ghana Police Service with an excuse of not having enough personnel to offer protection to the protesters after having been served notice. But in a very sharp U-turn, the Police service led by the Inspector General engaged the members of the NDC and agreed on routes for the protest.

In the arrangement, the protest is expected to beg at Green Park, opposite Accra Mall, through Opeibea Trafic intersection to AFGO junction through Aviation Social Center to Lands Commission Traffic light. With a final Destination of Parliament House, the protesters will go through the Christ the King Catholic Church, to Jubilee House through AU roundabout and end at the Lawmaking House.

According to a notice served by the Ghana Police Service, Roads from Tetteh Quashie Interchange through Liberation road towards AU Roundabout will be closed intermittently during the period of the Demonstration.

They advised that Motorists who use the Liberation road from the N4 to use Patrice Lumumba Street to link up with Dr. Hill’s Liman Street, Kanda and further link up to the Central Business District.

They further advised motorists to plan for alternative route before embarking on their journey.
