My team and I visited Swallow restaurant over the weekend.
It was our first time though and I must say- Swallow restaurant is worth dying for. From the starter to the dessert the authentic quality and tastes of everything was outstanding.
From the garlic bread to the Mediterranean chicken stew – to the teriyaki pork ribs and fried rice might have been the best meal I have ever been served.
The beef lasagna was amazing . I have been on a long search and agree this is the best lasagna I have found.
The Garlic bread- I affectionately call it as mother of nations cos it’s got a cult -like following . There are varieties of garlic bread . Let me stick to “ Mother Garlic bread itself “ – it was thick and sexy. I love a good crunchy outer layer and I had it. I was lost in the passion of the moment . Well what can I do?
Sprite with pomegranate cocktail. My first time and it was insanely good. Even the fussy eaters will drink this pomegranate spritzer with no hesitations.
Cheesecake : tastes Rich, with some tangyundertones
Chocolate cake ( which was on the house ) – This cake was moist and has the perfect crumb. Chocolatey perfection
Cocktails wow, mosketto wine was great too!
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant on the compound of Ghana Wildlife Society around Efua Sutherland Park. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal I’ve had a long while in Accra. Highly recommend!
Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out.
